A home cook horrified foodies by sharing a picture of “curry on toast”,
James submitted his unusual creation to Rate My Plate, which reposted the dish for its 2.7 million followers.
Facebook users had a lot to say about the spiced bread – and they didn’t hold back with their insults.
While some compared the curry to poo, others pointed out the “toast” hadn’t been browned at all.
One commenter said: “Looks very similar to something my cat left on the carpet the other day.”
Another wrote: “After once witnessing my old man stepping off the stairs into a pile of cat sick and seeing it squelching through his toes I can expertly state that is what this is.”
A third said: “This is preparing me for what to expect when I change my future babies diapers.”
Another commented: “Is that for real? Bread doesn’t even look toasted.
“And as for that curry – puppy diarrhoea, lovely.”
And a fifth added: “This meal is so s***, even the plate doesn’t want to seen with it and is trying it’s best to camouflage with your kitchen worktop.”
While many were revolted by the “curry and toast” pairing, others were a bit more open to the idea.
