As the unofficial last hurrah of summer, Labor Day weekend’s always a little bittersweet. But we’ve found that eating our feelings is usually an effective coping mechanism. So The Post teamed with the foodie pros at Delish.com to deliver brilliant burger hacks. Here, their top tips for grilling glory — including how long to grill your burgers and smart tricks to help them stay moist.
Burgers — what you’d think were the no-brainers of a barbecue — are actually kinda easy to mess up. They can be overcooked, underdone or straight-up dry if the grill master doesn’t pay attention. But you’ll make perfect patties every time if you follow the handy graphic below.
It’s important to get your grill smokin’ hot first. Heat your grill to high and bust out the oil — you’ll need it for brushing on your grill grates and directly on your patties to prevent sticking and add another layer of flavor.
