TikTok: How to remove the green screen effect!
- If you have launched the TikTok app and have clicked to make a video using the green screen effect and want to remove it then follow these steps.
- First of all you should be in effects with the green screen filter taking up your screen. If you have not yet selected a photo to upload as your green screen background then it will be the default city street landscape.
- Then, you can simply tap the green screen icon in the effects tab again and this will remove the effect.
- Another way to remove the green screen effect is by clicking the disable sign in the far left corner of your tabs.
- If you have already selected a green screen background then simply press the effects folder in the bottom left corner and here you will be able to tap the green screen icon to remove it or press the disable sign.
Can you remove effects after posting?
If you added a filter after recording your video you can remove this as well. To remove a filter, tap the ‘Filters’ button on the right-hand side, and select ‘Normal’. This will remove any filters that you added post-recording.
However, if you selected a filter before recording then sadly there is no way to remove these. For example, if you added the F6 filter and then recorded your video, then this filter can not be taken off your recorded video.
