Hugh Hefner ‘s son Cooper Hefner has announced he and wife Harry Potter star Scarlett Byrne are expecting twins.
The 30-year-old took to Instagram to share the happy news on Thursday, alongside a sweet photo of him with his wife and their 15-month-old daughter Betsy.
“Scarlett and I will be welcoming two new members of the family this spring. We couldn’t be happier as we wait on the arrival of our twins. A very Happy Thanksgiving to all,” Cooper wrote.
Scarlett, 31, shared the same photo, which showed her holding Betsy in her arms while wearing a figure-hugging cream jumper dress that revealed her growing bump.
“Thankful for our growing family. Cooper and I are very excited to share that we will be welcoming twins at the beginning of 2022. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving,” she captioned the touching family snap.
Scarlett played Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter film saga, making her debut in 2009’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, before reprising her role for both Deathly Hallows movies.
She also starred as Nora Hildegard in the hit US drama series The Vampire Diaries, and the TV show Runaways.
Cooper’s stepmother Crystal Hefner, his father Hugh’s third wife, commented on his post, “Great photo. Happy thanksgiving and congratulations.”
The 30-year-old is the youngest of the Playboy mogul’s four children, and left his father’s firm in 2019 to launch his own media company, before branching out into politics as he launched a campaign to run for the US Senate.
He also recently returned from a stint helping to support displaced families from Afghanistan resettle in the US after fleeing the country following the takeover by the Taliban.
Cooper and Scarlett met in 2014, and the former businessman popped the question just one year later.
The loved-up couple tied the knot in 2019, and announced last year they were expecting their first child together.
He shared the happy news that he and Scarlett had become parents for the first time in August 2020 with an emotional post on Instagram.
“At 5:23 p.m. this afternoon, Scarlett and I welcomed our daughter Betsy Rose Hefner into the world. We are overwhelmed with gratitude, love, and joy,” Cooper wrote.
