A US lash technician has gone viral after sharing her creative work – but whilst some love them, others think the gigantic lashes look like spiders.
Lexis, from Maryland, USA, is a beauty specialist who’s taken the internet by storm with her unusually large and fluttery lash extensions.
Although her videos of clients are watched by thousands, one such clip has taken the internet by storm.
In the video, which has been viewed by close to 823,000 TikTok users, Lexis showed off one of her latest creations – a set so thick, it covered all of the client’s eyelid, with some hair reaching the eyebrow area.
This particular set, it appeared, was similar to one which the lash guru charged $100 (£76) for.
While it not may be everyone’s cup of tea, Lexis seems to have a regular stream of clients who request a similar look, as she often shares Before and After clips with people rocking her custom-made strips.
There are also many who’ve showed support to the tech who frequently receives hate from online trolls, with many saying she’s just doing her job.
”Do y’all realize that person asked and paid for her lashes to look like that so obviously she likes them like that,” pointed out one viewer.
Another agreed, adding: ”Her other art is good the girl asked for this.”
However, not everyone shares the same opinion, as a few were convinced most of her clients probably struggle to see through the thick extensions.
”Even if she asked for this I just know this isn’t sanitary. You should’ve talked her down,” thought someone.
”So you seriously like think this is acceptable like be honest,” a critical user wrote, whilst a second commented: ”why do people think these look good?”

”free my people from lash extenstions [sic],” a viewer demanded jokingly.
Although her clients were ready to spend $100 for the fluttery set, trolls said they wouldn’t even consider paying $1 for it.
Others also suggested Lexis to think about a career change, with one writing: ”maybe try being a nail tech…”
”Those look HEAVY. the type of lashes that will cause your natural ones to fall out from preset,” warned one of the viewers.
