Very strange, it shows up on zillow I know.
and if I search for the exact address on realtor.com it finds the listing, but it shows an arbitrary location in the city area, not my address, no neighborhood info, no school info. if you just search the city or search an area, its not shown. Its like it doesnt recognize the address so it doesnt associate it with that geographical spot.
Im concerned that my listing not appearing on what I imagine to be one of the leading places people search for new listings will severely impact my exposure.
I know for my home search, I had real time notifications of new listings which I passed onto my agent to schedule showing. Maybe I was overinvolved, but it seemed like you had to get in early to get a showing appointment. My new city is higher demand than my old though. If someone was doing the same behavior here, they wouldnt see my house at all.
I have asked my agent, he said he would try to call realtor.com to see the issue, but as of now, Friday evening, not fixed, and I think the first weekend is kinda important, by the 2nd weekend, as a buyer, I assume Im no longer competing with other buyers if its lasted that long.
I did have 10 showings, 7 more tomorrow, so its getting interest (not sure if thats a good level of interest or not), but still concerns me.
are my concerns unfounded? Is there someone at realtor.com I could call to inquire?
