Danny Miller has revealed that he’s now having to isolate until Christmas Eve as his fiancée Steph Jones has “caught Covid ” – less than a week after they were reunited.
The 30-year-old – who was crowned the winner of the latest series of I’m a Celebrity last weekend – shared the news with fans in a video on his Instagram account earlier.
The former Emmerdale actor said that his partner Steph, 30, had caught Covid-19 and so they would now need to isolate with their baby, Albert – who is just weeks old.
And whilst it’s not ideal, Danny said that it was “the perfect opportunity” to spend time together after being separated for several weeks whilst he was on the ITV reality series.
He said: “So after 23 days of not being able to see or speak to Steph and Albert, which was the hardest time of my life, we now have the perfect opportunity to catch up with one another as we begin isolation.”
Danny continued: “Because Steph has unfortunately bless her caught Covid. She’s not feeling the best today so she’s just gone down for a sleep while Albert’s asleep.”
He added: “Don’t worry about us, we’re all good. If you don’t laugh about these things, you’re gonna cry – and I’ve done enough of that over the last three weeks.”
The first ever King of the Castle then answered questions submitted by fans, including confirming that the camp at Gwrych Castle in North Wales was “freezing” in most areas.
In a follow-up video, he said: “There was a few things that I’ve had to cancel. There was a coming home party that I’ve had to cancel.”
He continued: “I had to cancel my haircut and I was going shopping to get a few bits and bobs because I lost a little bit of weight. All that’s on hold until Christmas Eve when we’re out of isolation.”
