I’m worried lockdown will ruin my relationship after months apart

DEAR DEIDRE: MY girlfriend and I have been together for a year and a half.

As soon as I can get a job in her area, we plan to move in together.

I normally drive to see her but she lives 100 miles away so I’m not sure I’m allowed to form a support bubble with her.

Is there a guideline on this, for support bubbles?

We really missed each other during the first lockdown and I’ve been dreading this one, too.

I’m worried our relationship will not last these weeks, or months, apart.

There are still ways you can be there for one another.
