Tattoo artist leaves LA after criticising California’s ‘terrible policies’
Kat, who rose to fame thanks to the reality show Miami Ink, has been a staunch critic of the Californian government’s policies for a long time. In 2020, she announced that she will “definitely not ever” sell her “beautiful home in LA.”
She also announced at the time that she had bought the Schenck mansion in Indiana to escape from the state’s problems.
“With all that has been taking place in California with terrible policies, tyrannical government overreach, ridiculous taxing, amongst so much more corruption, we just felt the need to plant roots in a small town where there is nature, where my son can be free to play, and where we can eventually retire one day,” she said.
Talking about her relocation plans in her latest Instagram post, Kat said, “I will most likely open a private studio in Indiana once we are done with the house remodel there.”
