Looking for new workouts to try during lockdown?
As gyms are still closed in England, we’ve all become used to training in our homes.
But if you’re lacking equipment and much motivation, here’s a circuit that you might enjoy.
Kayla Itsines, who boasts 12.8 million followers on Instagram, has become the queen of fitness offering fans support on her platforms.
Now to encourage beginners to move their bodies, the mum-of-one, from Australia, has shared a simple chair workout.
It requires minimal equipment – just a chair – and can be done anywhere in the comfort of your own home.
So are you ready to try it out?
Kayla starts by demonstrating a sit squat where she completed 12 reps of the workout.
Next she did a modified burpee with 10 reps before moving onto the plank rocks using her chair.
Here Kayla finished 15 reps of the technique then swiftly turned to tricep dips and an elevated glute bridge.
She told her legion of followers to complete this circuit three times in order to see maximum results.
Posting a caption to her fans, Kayla wrote: “Chair workout for beginners.
“My #zeroequipment ladies will know you can get a killer workout done with just a chair.
“If you’re a beginner to fitness or my BBG programs, try building your strength with this at-home workout!
“You will only need a stable chair and a towel or mat to work up a sweat.”
