A Facebook post hinting that DJ Khaled was dead had gone viral on March 16. However, the rapper is alive and well.
Amid the rumors, Khaled has been active on social media and has been constantly engaging with the fans. This is not the first time a celebrity has become a victim of a death hoax.
Khaled’s rep also confirmed the news is false and that he is doing well.

Facebook death hoax debunked
As per Media Massthe news about Khaled’s death started after a Facebook page that was named “R.I.P. Khaled” gained attention. Fans were quick to believe the news as the post seemed to have all the right details about him.
The post read: “At about 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday (March 15, 2022), our beloved singer Khaled passed away. Khaled was born on February 29, 1960, in Oran. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”
It appears the person who created the page got all the information from Google and decided to use it as a means to gain likes.
However, Khaled’s rep soon confirmed the news is false. In a statement to the outlet, the rep noted: “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet.”
A look at DJ Khaled’s social media posts
While people thought the rumors were true, Khaled was quite active on social media, proving otherwise.
Khaled revealed he had been nominated for the Grammys while showing off the medal he received. As of now, he has had four nominations and has won one Grammy.
He is definitely hoping that he could have another win added to his list.
