Broadway star Laura Osnes is reportedly fired from a Hamptons show for refusing to get herself vaccinated against COVID-19, per Page Six reports. After the news broke, several took to Twitter to establish that she is a supporter of former POTUS Donald trump.
The Broadway shows require audiences, performers, and backstage staff to show proof of vaccination. However, reports suggest that Laura revealed that she hadn’t been vaccinated and “doesn’t trust the jabs.”
Is Laura Osnes a supporter of Trump?
Laura hasn’t publicly spoken about voting for the Republicans or showed her support for Trump.
But, a video shared on Twitter from 2020 had convinced fans that the broadway actress rooted for the former POTUS.
In September 2020, a video featuring three women putting up a Zoom performance for Trump’s rally was shared on Twitter. A couple of Twitter users identified the ladies in the video as Kat McPhee, Laura Osnes, and Corey Cott (who is a male celebrity, btw).
The trio even wore the MAGA hats throughout their performance, thus extending their support to Trump.
In the video, the woman in between is heard singing “Real women vote for Trump”. The lyrics further states, “We don’t need no liberal chump.”
But, it was later clarified that the video was only a parody and the woman seen in it wasn’t Laura, while many had come to believe that the Broadway star supported Trump.

Twitter reacts to Cinderella star’s exit
While Laura or her representative haven’t commented on her exit, Twitter users were quick to rush to the platform to express their opinion about her reportedly getting fired over vaccine refusal. Some of them have even established that she is a Trump supporter with an anti-vax stance.
One tweeted, “laura osnes getting fired bc she’s an unvaccinated trump supporter….. hilarious”
Another wrote, “The number of people who have sent me the Laura Osnes story and said, “thought of you,” just confirms that my IG highlight of calling out Broadway’s biggest Trump-supporting names for the past 18+ months has not been in vain….#honored #takeouthetrash”
One tweeted, “laura osnes is a full blown trump supporter”
