Isaiah Rashad has celebrated the 10th anniversary of Cilvia Demo with a batch of new live songs recorded during an intimate performance at Spotify Studios.
On Tuesday (January 23), the TDE rapper released live versions of “Menthol,” “RIP Kevin Miller,” “Shot You Down” and “Heavenly Father” exclusively on Spotify.
The tracks come courtesy of the streaming platform’s new TEN series, which sees an artist perform live renditions of material from a beloved album to coincide with its 10th anniversary.
In his performance, filmed in front of an audience at Spotify’s L.A. campus, Rashad brought the aforementioned songs — as well as “Ronnie Drake” — to life with help from a band.
In between songs, he shared memories from the making of Cilvia Demo and answered questions from those in attendance, which included both fans and fellow artists like SiR.
“I’m here to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Cilvia Demo. I never thought I’d be here. I never thought I’d have the opportunity to have an anniversary of anything but shit, I’m glad I’m here with y’all,” he told the small crowd.
Around the 8:50 mark, Rashad showed the audience the original artwork for Cilvia Demo which featured him on the cover. He joked that he would have “fell off” if he had decided to use it.

Released on January 28, 2014, Cilvia Demo was Isaiah Rashad’s debut project and first release on Top Dawg Entertainment.
Though not a commercial success at the time, it was widely acclaimed by critics and has since developed a large cult following.
The 14-song collection featured guest appearances from labelmates SZA, ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock.
Rashad is also celebrating the anniversary of Cilvia Demo by touring it around the country.
