Shoppers have been left baffled as they’ve shared bizarre items designed to look dirty.
Most people would be left red-faced if they had a dirty item in their home or wore clothes covered in stains.
However, it seems some designers have actually decided to make their work look dirty on purpose.
Shoppers from around the globe have been sharing their unusual discoveries – with the likes of clothes, toilet seats and even underwear intentionally given a ‘dirty’ appearance.
A gallery has been created by Bored Panda of the strange items, which include a bed that looked like it had been smeared with blood.
This rose-themed bedspread certainly makes it look like a horror scene could have taken place in the room.
People were certainly left baffled by the design, which gave the appearance of blood splattered all over it.
One commented: “It looks like there is a dead body wrapped in a sheet at the end of the bed.”
While another quipped: “Looks like from the set of Dexter.”
A third chimed in: “It’s a crime scene!”
As a fourth joked: “Great for horror movies!!”
One Etsy seller has decided to offer these unique plant-dyed underwear to shoppers online.
However, it seems like many people may not be interested in giving them a wear.
Social media users have claimed the knickers look like they’re ‘soiled’ as they commented online.
One wrote: “Looks like they were laying in a forest for 3 years.”
While another added: “Nothing will make you feel sexier than undies that look like they’re stained.”
A third joked: “Not getting laid with these.”
‘Muddy’ designer jeans
Many people may be worried about getting their jeans dirty while going for a country walk.
However, these designer jeans are perfect for outside strolls.
You won’t even notice any real stains, thanks to its unique design – with brown patches all over the jeans.
Fashion fans couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw them.
One probed: “Why would someone buy muddy jeans? If I want them to look muddy, I can do it myself and that’s not even permanent should I change my mind.”
While another added: “Fashion has literally turned to s**t.”
A third asked: “Do these come with designer stench?”
Yellow marble toilet seat
One designer thought it would be a good idea to use a lovely yellow marble shade for a toilet seat.
However, it seems like people online weren’t quite as sold on the idea.
One social media user exclaimed: “I would never go in this restroom again. I’d go to the nearest gas station.”
While another added: “You can never know whether it is clean or dirty… Sometimes, ignorance is not bliss, just pure fear.”
A third asked: “Who comes up with these concepts?”
Awkwardly ‘stained’ trousers
Why worry about spilling something down yourself if your trousers looked like they’re stained already?
People were baffled by this design as many said it looked like the wearer had had an accident.
One social media user commented: “Looks like you peed your pants.”
While another added: “I wouldn’t wear those to an outdoor toilet.”
A third asked: “What could the designers possibly have been thinking about?”
