The Late Late Show host James Corden has revealed how he changed his lifestyle to lose two stone after years of promising he was going to go on a diet
James Corden says he spent years promising he’d go on a diet on New Year’s Day.
And after finally following through on his goal and losing two stone, he’s sharing his weight loss secrets.
The Late Late Show host, whose show was cancelled after he tested positive for Covid, admits he became fed up with the way he looked and wanted to make changes to his life to become more fit and healthy.
Even with Hollywood’s personal trainers on his doorstep, James found that he couldn’t lose the weight he wanted to until he signed up to WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers.

He told the Daily Mail : “Every year for the last decade, probably even 15 years, on January 1st I’ve told myself and anyone that listens that this is it, this is the year I’m going on a diet, I’m going to lose a load of weight.”
Speaking of reaching out to WW, the 43-year-old said: “I asked them, ‘Can you help me with this? Why does this keep not working for me?’ They told me what I’m probably doing wrong is that I’m going on a diet and that’s not the answer.
“They said if you stick with our regime, which is about wellness, and health, and feeling better, rather than just trying to lose a load of weight, it can absolutely work.”

Then over the course of last year, James lost 28lb by following the plan and has kicked off 2022 vowing to shed even more.
He said the plan had “really worked” for him as he urged others hoping to lose weight to give it a go.
Meanwhile, filming of James’ hit US talk show was shut down after he tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
The Gavin & Stacey star told his fans on Instagram : “I just tested positive for covid 19. I’m fully vaccinated, boosted and because of this am fortunate enough to say I feel completely fine.
“The show will be off the air for the next few days. Stay safe everyone. All my love, James x”
Fellow US talk show hosts Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon have also been forced to take breaks from their respective shows due to coronavirus.
