In the last few hours it was reported that Jared Tristan Padalecki, renowned actor of the TV series Supernatural, suffered a traffic accident, as something happened to the vehicle in which he was traveling.
Although there is no official statement on the matter, there is a version circulating in social networks where it is clarified that Padalecki was not driving.
Secrecy surrounding the actor
The 39-year-old Texan actor has won the affection of thousands of fans who have accompanied him during his more than two decades of career in both film and television.
Jared is married to actress Genevieve Cortese, whom he met in 2008 during the filming of the fourth season of Supernatural, a project that has catapulted him to stardom.
The couple has three children whom he constantly shows off to his followers, but it is also unknown if they were traveling with him at the time of the accident.
The vehicle was in very bad shape
Jensen Ackles, Padalecki’s partner on Supernatural, is the one who wrote the first comments about the mishap, but did not give further details.
According to Jared’s fan page, his friend Ackles was shocked to see the condition of the car and commented that he couldn’t believe how Padalecki had walked away.
“Jensen saw the car and says he’s lucky to be alive,” one tweet read.
Another version points to the actor recovering at home, as his injuries don’t go beyond some scrapes.
In 2007, Padalecki was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and in 2015, the actor himself launched a campaign called Always Keep FIghting to raise funds that could contribute to the foundation To Write Love on Her Arms, which seeks to help people with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.
