Jessica Marais was taken to hospital ‘in a distressed state’ last May after emergency crews were called to her home for a welfare check.
But on Tuesday, almost a year after the worrying incident, the 36-year-old actress was a picture of health as she went for a dip at Sydney’s Coogee Beach.
The Packed to the Rafters star appeared to be in good spirits despite the blustery weather, as she was seen smiling while jumping through the waves.

On the afternoon of May 2, 2020, the Wrong Girl actress was walked from her Sydney home to an ambulance, where she was put on a gurney and taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick.

Fortunately, she appeared happy and healthy several weeks later as she spent time with her Packed to the Rafters co-star Hugh Sheridan.
In 2014, Jessica had spoken about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
‘I was diagnosed at one point with bipolar. I have developed ways to talk myself down from any ledges I find myself on,’ she told The Australian Women’s Weekly.
‘There’s probably one day a month when I am an absolute mess. In my case it’s hard to separate what is due to trauma or stress and what is due to a simple chemical imbalance.’
