In the short clip (above), Joey Chestnut takes part in the 2021 Nathan’s Hot Dog eating championship. The contest winner set a new record on Sunday 4th July.
He managed to gobble 26 more hot dogs than second place holder Geoffrey Esper.
The video sees the crowd go wild as the time limit nears to a close.

The winner’s previous Hot Dog record explored
A competition that has become ‘tradition‘ on 4th July, Joey Chestnut saw his 14th win at the Hot Dog eating contest.
The winner broke his previous record of a consumption of 75 hot dogs, which he set during last year’s contest.
In talks with ESPN on Sunday, Chestnut commented: “Even if I was uncomfortable, having everybody cheer me and push me, it made me feel good.”
Outside of the contest, Joey uploaded a video to his YouTube channel in March of 2020 titled ‘Most Big Macs Ever Eaten by One Person’.
The foodie managed 32 Big Macs in 38 minutes and 15 seconds.
Chestnut’s YouTube channel boasts over 200k subscribers and is dedicated to him devouring mass amounts of food.
