That caption-less, blurry Instagram post from Justin Bieber has circulated social media this week – fans can’t seem to work out what is going on.
The Bieber couple were photographed in Paris earlier in the week, pictured with the French President and his wife.

What did Bieber post on Instagram?
Peaches singer Justin Bieber took to Instagram earlier in the week to post this low-quality image of himself, his wife, the French President Emmanuel Macron, and his wife Brigitte.
The Canadian artist left the photo without a caption, leaving fans baffled with so many questions: Why were the couple in Paris? Why did they meet the French President? What was the special occasion?

How are fans reacting?
Notably – although we can’t be sure on the context of the image – fans took particular notice of the Bieber couple’s outfits.
With Justin pictured in a button-down suit and a pair of Nikes, Hailey is, in turn, wearing a cut-out midi dress with ankle-tie heels. Instagram users took to the comments, confused at the stars’ outfits in contrast to that of the President’s.
One person commented: “Wifey’s pretty and all but should have dressed for the occasion.”
Likewise, another wrote: “Hailey: really?”
However, most comments were focused on why the Bieber’s were even with the French President in the first place.
Somebody else took to the comment section, writing: “Why is Justin Bieber with the French president?”
Another wrote: “Justin babe…what is this?”

Other politicians that Justin Bieber has met
It would appear that Bieber has quite the CV when it comes to meeting famous politicians – Emmanuel Macron was not the first!
Former President Obama
Bieber and former President Obama (pictured above) met in 2011 at a Christmas concert. Obama reportedly described the singer as “a very nice young man.”
Stephen Harper
The singer met the Canadian Prime minister back in 2012, however – much like his meeting with the French President – Bieber was criticised for his choice of attire.
Justin turned up to meet Stephen Harper wearing overalls and a cap worn backwards.
Luckily, the Canadian Prime minister saw the humour in this and, at the time, tweeted: “In fairness to @justinbieber, I told him I would be wearing my overalls too. #cdnpoli #beliebers”
Bieber ‘turns down’ Republican national convention
It seems as though Bieber could have met some other politicians back in 2016 – but he reportedly turned down a $5 million gig to play at a Republican national convention.
