Katie Brand is attempting to rebrand her Sussex home as she sets about restoring the old property to its former glory.
The 42-year-old former glamour model, who bought the sprawling property in 2014, has faced a series of setbacks throughout the years amid botched refurbishing jobs as well as pictures of junk around her home.
However, the mum of five has now vowed to completely transform the property – that had formerly been dubbed the ‘Mucky Mansion’.
Taking to social media, Katie revealed that she had created a new page called plucky_mansion on which she will document home interiors and styling.
On her main Instagram page, Katie shared an aerial picture of the enormous home alongside a message to her 2.5 million followers.
“Follow my new Instagram page @plucky_mansion dedicated to my house I’ve decided to transform back to a family home and you can enjoy and give me advice and watch the journey,” the television star wrote.
She then shared a series of snippets that were taken from her YouTube page as she opened up about her ‘new project’ as she cracks on with renovations with her boyfriend Carl Woods.
Katie had snapped up the enormous Sussex family home for £1.3million in 2014 but the property fell into a state of disrepair in recent years.
In previous videos of the property, it had emerged that Katie had accumulated a lot of junk at the mansion and piles of trash were seen piled up on the grounds of the house.
It then emerged that the home had even been ransacked by thieves, which left the place uninhabitable.
Prior to launching her latest grand project, Katie had actually suggested that she ‘hated’ the property and couldn’t imagine ever returning.
“I hate it, I just hate it. It looks ransacked,” Katie said at the time.
“I can’t live in a place like this, this is what someone did to my house deliberately. It’s so disheartening that it’s like this.”
However, it looks like Katie has had a change of heart and is now set on transforming the property with the help of Carl and a team of builders.
