Katie Price reflects on co-parenting with Peter Andre on Junior’s 15th birthday

Katie Price has paid tribute to her son Junior on his 15th birthday as she reflected on how she and Peter Andre had raised their boy.

Junior was born in June 2005, three months after Katie and Peter tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Highclere castle – and a year after the pair first met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

After three years of marriage Katie and Peter split in May 2009 and continued to share custody of Junior and his sister Princess Tiaamii.

As their eldest boy celebrates his birthday this weekend, doting mum Katie took to Instagram to reflect on how proud she was of her co-parenting with Pete.

“Happy 15th birthday to my mini me in many ways and so proud of the young man he is turning out to be. His dad and me have done a good job,” she mused.

Katie followed this up with “Excited for today when he comes home for a surprise ❤️❤”

She accompanied this with a sweet family snap of her kissing Junior on the cheek.

Fans immediately began to comment by sharing their own birthday wishes to Junior.

“Such a lovely lad Katie,” shared one.

“You’ve always been a great mother Katie. Happy birthday Junior, can remember when he was just a baby xx” added another.

Another disagreed with Katie’s ‘mini me’ comment and said Junior was “so like his dad.”

Junior’s birthday comes just two weeks after Katie celebrated her eldest son Harvey’s 18th birthday with a jungle-themed party

Earlier this month, Katie’s ex Peter shared a rare message about Harvey to celebrate his special day.

Replying to a happy birthday post from Junior, Peter responded with three love hearts.

In a recent interview, Katie said that Peter and her third husband Kieran had been ‘great dads’.

Opening up about parenting in lockdown, the former glamour model said: “I regularly FaceTime the kids. I can’t wait to see them and to give them a big hug – this has been really hard. Kieran and Peter are great dads – I know the children are in safe hands.”
