Katie Price has opened up about her horrific experience with being sexually abused.
The former glamour model, 42, recalled the terrifying encounter she endured as a seven-year-old as she opened up about being raped in a park.
The harrowing ordeal left Katie scarred for life, as she now admits she’s “weak with men” as a result.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Magazine, Katie opened up about how the abuse affected her life since and the decisions she’s made about men in her life.
As she opened up about checking into The Priory in January last year, Katie said: “What happened to me as a child was part of it to. They say that’s why I’m weak with men. I just pick t***ers, don’t I?”
Katie last month recalled the harrowing sexual abuse she endured as a child.
Speaking on the Changes with Annie Macmanus podcast, the mum-of-five said: “My thing that’s always been wrong in my life is men. That is from an early age.
“I was raped as a kid. At seven. That is in my first book. I was in a park.”
Katie was able to unpack a number of past traumas during her time spent at mental health facility The Priory last year.
She told host Annie that men have always been at the heart of her life’s troubles, and that developed trust issues toward men at a young age.
Katie also recalled other incidents which forced her to have therapy.
The star said she grew close to a photographer who ended up taking indecent pictures of her when she was just 12.
Katie also alleged that the photographer had used to drug girls with milkshakes in order to take photographs of them, though that had never happened to Katie.
Elsewhere in the interview, Katie also recalled being sexually assaulted during a car-jacking robbery in 2018.
