The Season Ticket — a relatively new recruiting website that has done a good job of covering grassroots and high school basketball — posted national player rankings for the 2022 class this week, and a future Kentucky Wildcat is near the very top of the list.
Five-star wing Chris Livingston, who signed with UK in November, is the No. 2 player in the site’s rankings, behind only former Kentucky target Dereck Lively II, who signed with Duke in the fall. The Wildcats’ other two signees for next season are Cason Wallace (No. 10 in the Season Ticket rankings) and Skyy Clark (No. 14).
Livingston, who is playing his senior season at Oak Hill Academy (Va.), certainly has the potential to ascend to the No. 1 spot in the 2022 class, but his rankings have varied greatly across the recruiting services. 247Sports ranks Livingston as the No. 4 recruit, with Rivals.com putting him at No. 8 and ESPN slotting him at No. 12.
