KYLIE celebrates setting a record on tomorrow’s Jonathan Ross Show.
The Aussie star, 52, performed new song Real Groove from her latest record Disco, which topped the charts last month and made her the first woman to land a No1 album in five consecutive decades.
Kylie told Jonathan, 60: “I’m so glad I didn’t know that [before]. When it got to release week there was added pressure.”
Reflecting on having to finish the album at home due to Covid, Kylie said: “My respect for my crew got even higher.
“A few calls to friends, a few mistakes and I set up my studio – clothing rails, duvets, blankets, anything to absorb the sound. The glamour.”
Her 15th studio album, titled Disco, received 55,000 chart sales, meaning it has had the best opening week of any new release in 2020 so far.
