Specifically county transfer and recordation taxes, to the tune of $4K. As I understand it, the lender doesn’t have any leeway to add/increase those things after submitting the LE.
I fully expect they will show up at closing. Maybe I’m wrong. But if I’m not, what’s my recourse? Walking is always the option that’s not really an option.
I’m trying to learn more about this refund/cure process that happens after the fact.
