Liam Payne has professed his love for ex-fiance Maya Henry – just weeks after they split.
The former One Direction star, 27, seemed to be in a reflective mood as he shared a string of late night musings about love, loss and the 21-year-old Texan model.
In one rambling Insta story he wrote: “Don’t let someone go if you really want to love them even if you have to learn to love them through your own mistakes let your instinct tell you that you need them and keep them close we are always running out of time we never gain it.’

In the next story he wrote “F**k Me I’m Wise”, also tagging Maya and illustrating the plain black background with an emoji of praying hands.
He rounded off his trio of deep thoughts with “I love you, we calm”.
Maya and Liam were first linked after he split from Cheryl Tweedy in 2018.
He proposed to her last August with an engagement ring estimated to be worth a staggering £3million.
Liam surprised fans when he revealed on the Diary Of A CEO podcast last month that he had called off his engagement.
He said: “I feel like more than anything at this point, I’m more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people.
“That annoys me. I’ve just not been very good at relationships. And I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point.
“I’m just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else.”

The sudden outpouring could mean that Liam regrets ditching his future bride, and that they might be able to get their relationship back on track.
Liam and Maya’s wasn’t the only relationship that crumbled during the rollercoaster of coronavirus outbreaks, lockdowns and restrictions since last March – but he revealed the last 15 months have strengthened the bond with his son, Bear, 4.

Talking to Glamour magazine about raising a child with an ex, he said: “It’s very, very relaxed and we spend a lot of time on FaceTime.
“It’s been really lovely, and I’m closer to them than I’ve ever been before, actually, which is really, really nice.
“But bedtime FaceTime can go really well sometimes. Or I bought him some toys yesterday that I showed them on the FaceTime and it was like I had to travel over and hand the toys over the fence!”
