A cartoon fan has embarked on a culinary quest to make and eat every type of pizza mentioned in the 1987 series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Millenial fans will remember the show which followed a quartet of turtles who fight crime from the shadows.
And, they do so fuelled mostly on pizza – and some of their toppings were totally bizarre.
The four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo often tucked into pizzas covered in anchovies and peanut butter, granola and liquorice and other disgusting sounding pairings.
Despite this, Redditor u/kirk_d decided he wanted to make every single pizza from the 1987 series.

The show has continued to be written for many years and is still ongoing, but the foodie reckoned 64 of the iconic flavours was enough.
So far, he’s made 29 and has another 31 to go on his TMNT Pizza Wednesdays.
And, he’s posted some of his creations online.
He said: “I cooked 6 more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pizzas on my quest to cook and eat all 64 pizzas from the 1987 cartoon series.
“That’s 29 down, 31 to go.”

He also posts videos of himself making and eating the pizzas on YouTube, @KirkKooks and you can watch the whole playlist, here.
Some of the dishes so far include a butter, salami and double yoghurt pizza and an anchovies and banana pizza.
Plus, there’s a sardines, peppers, fudge and whipped cream pizza and even anchovies, onions and butterscotch.
Oh, and don’t forget marshmallows, octopus and chilli peppers…

Kirk added: “When I hit 1000 I’m gonna cook a bunch of the worse ones up for a large group of friends and record the reactions as a special 1000 sub video.”
Frankly, the idea that the pizzas he has made so far aren’t the worst ones fills us with horror.. and intrigue.
One commenter said: “How are you still alive? How much of each pizza have you eaten??”
“They almost all sound utterly f***ing disgusting but I wholeheartedly commend your effort and commitment,” added another.

Kirk replied: “Haha thanks, almost all of them did taste utterly f***ing disgusting!”
Many posters agreed that there were only a few flavours they would ever try.
One of those was popcorn and the other broccoli.
A fan said: “I’d gladly eat broccoli, none of the others look even edible.”
To which Kirk replied: “Yeah it was pretty bland but edible.”
