Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas successfully weighed in on Saturday (AEST) ahead of their WBA welterweight title fight in Las Vegas.
Ugas, a late replacement for Errol Spence Jr., tipped the scales at 147lbs. Meanwhile, Pacquiao was one pound lighter at 146lbs.

“I’ve never taken this fight lightly,” Pacquiao said. “Of course, I don’t want to be overconfident, but I want to make sure that tomorrow night [I will get] the victory.”
Pacquiao promised his “best”, while Ugas made clear that he won’t be overawed by the legend standing across from him on Sunday.
“I have a lot of respect for him, so I’m very excited,” Ugas said. “But all respect is finished after we get in the ring tomorrow.”
The hastily rearranged bout gives Pacquiao a chance to settle a score.
Pacquiao was controversially stripped of his WBA title on grounds of “inactivity” earlier this year despite the global disruption to boxing caused by the pandemic.
The WBA instead handed the belt to Ugas.
That’s the belt up for grabs on Sunday.
