Married At First Sight’s Jason Engler is left humiliated by his parents at his own WEDDING

He’s the former party boy looking to finally start a family and settle down.

But on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight, Jason Engler’s past finally caught up with him.

After hitting it off with his busty school teacher wife, Alana Lister, things got rather awkward when it came down to sitting down with his parents over dinner.

In an effort to get to know Alana’s new groom, her bridesmaids asked Jason what his hobbies were.

‘Be honest come on,’ called out his mother from the other side of the table.

Jason’s father then said, ‘Don’t answer it Jason,’ in a bid to save him for humiliation.

Alana’s bridesmaids were then seen nervously laughing before they said: ‘That’s not a good sign.’

‘I mean recently my hobbies are work during the week and then go out on the weekends, pretty much that’s it,’ he said.

A nervous Alana was then seen nodding her head.

In a piece to camera, Jason told producers: ‘Partying has been my hobby. That’s not the impression I want to give but that’s been it pretty much.’

Jason was then humiliated by everyone at the table after his father said, ‘I wasn’t going to bring up that time I had to pick you up from lying in the gutter somewhere.’

Quick to defend himself, Jason said: ‘Dad, we weren’t saying this mate’.

A red-faced Jason hit his forehead before saying: ‘How embarrassing!’

Alana, unsure what to think of the news told producers, ‘It definitely concerns me that he is mentioning the partying because it’s like a really big part of his life.’

‘I’m not the partying type and I don’t like that side of things at all,’ she said
