MasterChef star Hayden Quinn reveals the heartbreaking reason he can’t propose to his model girlfriend Jax Raynor
He is ready to get down on one knee and propose to his model girlfriend Jax Raynor.
But the coronavirus pandemic has thrown a spanner in the works for former MasterChef star Hayden Quinn.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the 34-year-old said the couple’s engagement plans had been stalled, as Jax wants her American family to share in the joy.

‘If you spoke to her she’d say 100 per cent [we’re ready] and I’m probably in the same boat,’ he told the publication.
‘It’s tricky because it’s the sort of thing you want to be able to celebrate with family and friends and being sort of split between two parts of the world.’
Hayden admitted the couple, who have been dating for the past five years, have also brushed off having children at this time.
‘We’re both just very happy with being auntie and uncle for now,’ he said.

Jax relocated from Los Angeles to Sydney to be with the chef and he said she was missing her parents after not seeing them for 18 months.
The couple reside in a beachside apartment in Manly.
Hayden was a breakout star on MasterChef. Last year, he reappeared on the franchise with an appearance on Back To Win.

The handsome star was one of the first to be sent home after he plated up a much-missed pub favourite, chicken schnitzel.
After his departure, the Family Food Fight star and cookbook author said that he found being on MasterChef again a rush.
Hayden told Ten Daily: ‘MasterChef is such an amazing opportunity, it’s a little bit addictive, the adrenaline rush, all that is suddenly very hard to say no to’.
‘I think my time in the kitchen is very much over, I’ll stick to cooking food in a goat paddock.’
