It’s hard to scroll on social media lately without coming across talk of Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly.

Recently announcing their engagement, actress Fox flaunted her unique diamond and emerald ring that, apparently, ‘hurts to take off’.

As reported by ELLE, MGK explained: “It’s a thoroughbred Colombian emerald, with no treatment. It was just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine. And the diamond was directly from Stephen [Webster]. 

“The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts…”

Angelina Jolie once wore a ‘hemoglobin’ necklace

Making headlines for an obscure piece of jewelry sounded all too familiar to fans, and people soon started comparing Fox’s ring to Angelina Jolie’s ‘hemoglobin’ necklace.

If you weren’t aware, Hollywood star Angelina Jolie actually used to wear the blood of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton in a necklace during their 3-year-marriage.

As per Insider, Thorton once shared: “The necklaces were a very simple thing, ‘Hey let’s poke our fingers with a pen and smear a little blood on there and when we’re away from each other we’ll wear the necklace’.

“It was that easy. But by the time it came out in the press it sounded like we were wearing a bucket of blood around our necks.”

Both Fox and Jolie have both caught the attention of fans through questionable jewellery pieces, but over on Twitter, people are spotting even more similarities between the two.

In fact, fans are comparing Megan Fox and MGK’s relationship to Angelia Jolie’s marriage to Billy Bob Thornton.
