The former First Lady was quizzed on how any of the staffers were fired by Jimmy who believed someone might have “rubbed her up the wrong way”. Despite this, Michelle insisted no one had been fired and that they were all wonderful people during Barack’s eight years in the role. Michelle’s answer was in response to Melania Trump’s clash with White House aide Mira Ricardel in 2018 causing her to leave.
Jimmy asked: “If you want to get someone in your husband’s administration fired, how would you do that?
“Just wondering if there’s somebody that rubbed you the wrong way.
“Would you send them a letter?”
Michelle said: “We had wonderful people in our administration. We never had a situation like that.”

Jimmy added: “I don’t believe that for a second.”
His comment comes as Ms Ricardel, deputy national security adviser, was forced out of her job after Melania called for her dismissal, according to CNN.
The former aide reportedly plotted against the Trump administration and leaked stories about officials.
She became an enemy of Melania reportedly over seating on the plane and the use of National Security Council resources.
In the interview, she revealed what she fought with Barack about while writing her 2018 book.
She said they would “fight” over what each other could include in their respective books.
Host, Mr Kimmel, asked Michelle: “Did you guys ever have a situation where you fight over an anecdote?
“He’s like, ‘I wanted that for my book’.”
Michelle said: “Since my book was first, he lost on all that, all the good stuff.”
