The IPA’s Dr Bella d’Abrera says the Microsoft staff who introduced themselves by citing their race and gender pronouns in a “woke” video presentation will be “very embarrassed” in five years’ time.
“This fixation on gender and race is just so shallow,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“It’s reducing human beings to just sort of physical characteristics, and it really does do us a disservice, and this is the problem with identity politics; it’s just so superficial.
“And I really think that these people are going to be very embarrassed in five years’ time when they have to pretend that they had nothing to do with this crazy woke movement and someone plays them this footage.
“It’s going to be really hard to explain.”
