The State is keen on enhancing the cultural and historical status of some areas in different cities across all governorates, said Local Development Minsiter Manal Awad.
The minister’s remarks were made during her meeting Tuesday 31/12/2024 with a host of senior officials from the Urban Development Fund (UDF), a delegation from the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), and the advisory bureau of the program.
The State is keen on modernizing cities in order to fulfill the sustainable development goals, added the minister.
She, meanwhile, expressed thanks and appreciation to the UN-Habitat for the support it provides to her ministry in a number of important files.
