Nines leads the way at the 2020 MOBO Awards with five nominations in the major music categories.
The rapper, 30, is up for best male act, best hip hop act and album of the year for Crabs In A Bucket.
He also scored a nod for video of the year for Clout and best album 2017-2019 for Crop Circle.
He faces stiff competition in the album of the year category from J Hus, Stormzy, Mahalia and Lianne La Havas.
Lianne La Havas, Mahalia and Tiana Major9 have landed three nominations each, including best female act alongside Darkoo, FKA Twigs and Ms Banks.
Song of the year, voted for by the public, sees the likes of Aitch, Ivorian Doll, M1llionz and Shaybo go up against each other.
There are also awards outside of music with a strong category for best media personality, also voted for the by the public.
Comedian Munya Chawawa, presenters Mo Gillian and Maya Jama, YouTube star KSI and Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo are among the nominees.
Michaela Coel is up for best performance in a TV show/film for her performance as Arabella in I May Destroy You. EastEnders star Jessica Plummer and Snowfall’s Damson Idris also have nods.
Headie One, Tiwa Savage and Kojey Radical will perform with more to be announced soon.
This year will be the first MOBOs since 2017 after the 2018 ceremony was cancelled by organisers. It didn’t take place the following year.
Stormzy cleaned house at the 2017 awards, winning best male act, best album for Gang Signs And Prayer, and best grime act.
The MOBO Awards, hosted by Maya and internet personality Chunkz, will be streamed live on YouTube on December 9.
