On July 24, Tucker Carlson had an unusual encounter with a Montana man named Dan Bailey. Their conversation was captured on video, and the same was shared on Dan’s Instagram.
The Fox News host’s definitely caught the attention of many as several people reacted to the same. The video comes a day after Tucker was called out by Rep. Eric Swalwell on Twitter. Eric was unhappy with Tucker’s reporting as the journalist alleged that he had funneled money to a business employing his wife. As of now, Tucker has not responded to this.
Dan Bailey’s Instagram video explored
On July 24, Dan confronted Tucker during the journalist’s visit to a local store in Livingston, Montana. To add to this, Dan also decided to capture the entire event on camera.
Sharing the video on Instagram, he wrote: “It’s not every day you get to tell someone they are the worst person in the world and really mean it! What an a**hole!” As per Dan’s Instagram post, there were a number of things that upset him about Tucker and he decided to speak his mind when he met the Fox news journalist.
In the video, Dan can be heard saying: “You are the worst human being known to mankind. What you have done to this state, to the United States, to everyone else in this world. What you have done to families, what you have done to everybody else in this world. I don’t care that your daughter is here. What you’ve done to people’s families, what you have done to everybody else in this world.”
Throughout the video, Tucker can be heard saying he did not want to have a conversation inside the store. However, Dan continued to express his thoughts.
Dan Bailey store issues a statement
Dan Bailey’s store issued a statement after the video of the incident surfaced online. Dan, who happens to share the same name as the store, has no connection to the brand.
The same was clarified in the statement issued by the company. The statement read: “On July 23rd, a well-known television personality, Tucker Carlson, was affronted while shopping at Dan Bailey’s Outdoor Company. Coincidentally, the person engaging Mr. Carlson was a local resident named Dan Bailey.”
The statement continued: “This person has no affiliation with our business, other than he shares the same name as our founder, who passed away in 1982. To be clear, we treat every customer equally and respectfully. Our staff was professional and cordial to Mr. Carlson, as we are with all of our customers.
