A second woman has died after what SA Police has described as an “incident” at a home in Adelaide’s northern suburbs last month.
Emergency crews found a dead 92-year-old woman at a house on Whiteparish Road, Elizabeth North, at about 7:00pm on Sunday, July 26.
Her 62-year-old daughter was found unconscious and was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital.
She never regained consciousness and died on Friday.
Last Monday, Senior Constable Rebecca Stokes said the daughter had been detained under the Mental Health Act and police had wanted to speak to her when she roused.
“We do want to reassure the public that no-one else is being sought in relation to this incident,” Senior Constable Stokes said at the time.
The pair had been living together at the home.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
