A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling on rocks.
The injured rider fell while off-roading near Green Hall Farm, Llanfyllin.
He was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital with injuries to his pelvis and lower back.
Emergency services responded to the incident just after 3pm today (Saturday, January 8).
Llanfyllin Fire Station tweeted: “Llanfyllin crew were called out today at 15.06 to assist the air ambulance crew to rescue a male casualty who fell on rocks off his motorbike whilst off roading, he injured his pelvis and lower back and was flown to Stoke Hospital.
“Level one line pack and manpower was used.”
The motorcyclist’s condition is currently not known.
