Nando’s has announced the Sunset Burger will be returning to its menu due to popular demand.
The burger consists of two flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken thighs, melting cheddar cheese and smoky red pepper chutney with lettuce in a soft, bolo do caco roll.
The burger was an instant hit since it was introduced back in 2016 and has been one of the most requested items online since Nando’s reopened with a limited menu last year.
And now fans of the burger can rejoice, as it will be making its way back to the menu from tomorrow (Tuesday February 16).
However, lovers of the food favourite will have to act fast as it’s only back for a limited time only.
The burger will be available nationwide but only as a delivery option.

Fans will also be able to order Nando’s Sunset Burger with any spice on its iconic PERi-ometer, including the new, limited-edition Vusa XX Hot heat.
Nando’s introduced the Vusa XX Hot sauce back in January.
As well as bringing the spice, the saucy also has a zesty lemon flavour and punchy garlic kick along with a heap of African bird’s eye chilli heat too.
Nando’s said at the time: “Our fiercest, fieriest spice yet, taking the top spot on Nando’s menu and the PERi-ometer!
“Whatever you order is, Vusa XX Hot will turn up the heat on your usual, just don’t say we didn’t warn you…”

The restaurant chain also introduced a new clementine spiced PERi-PERi chicken in time for Christmas last year.
This tasted of warming clementine (kind of like an orange) and festive spices with added PERi-PERi and hibiscus.
Spiced Clementine replaced the existing Coconut and Lemon flavour, which joined the restaurants line-up over summer.
