What is Nintendo announcing this week?
Every other official announcement since the deadline date has seemed like a calculated act of trolling due to the numerous leaks about the console, including direct presentations devoted to the Nintendo Museum, music apps, and Alarm clocks.

The redesigned version of Xenoblade Chronicles X is another announcement that would have been better received at a different time. It appears that the Switch port will likely take centre stage this week rather than the new console.According to insider Pyoro, who is usually trustworthy when it comes to Nintendo leaks, there will only be information regarding Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, despite suggestions that Nintendo may reveal its next console in the first week of January.
When questioned about the rumours surrounding X’s Switch 2 reveal, Pyoro stayed silent until someone specifically mentioned Xenoblade, which prompted a vague emoji to imply that would be the announcement, as reported by Metro.
Last time, because of the vagueness, people expected the Switch 2 announcement, but it turned out to be Xenoblade, Pyoro said in response to further questions. Pyoro first hinted at the Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition announcement last year before it was formally announced. I don’t want to deceive you all once more.
When asked directly if there would be an announcement this week, they finally said, “Xenoblade.”
Others have predicted that the Switch 2 reveal will occur later this month, at the latest, but it is still possible that Nintendo will surprise everyone with it at any time.
