Victorian Liberal Democrats MP David Limbrick says he can’t pick anyone on the crossbench who would “flip” on their decision to vote against the Andrews government’s controversial pandemic legislation.
It comes as the proposed legislation has been thrown into disarray after former Labor minister Adem Somyurek revealed he will vote against the bill.
“There would have to be something really radical happen for someone to change their position here,” Mr Limbrick told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“The government clearly doesn’t want to sit until they know for certain that their legislation is going to be passed.
“As soon as they think it will pass, they’ll bring it back.”
