This simple olive nut spread is one your family will love. Only a few ingredients and absolutely delicious. It’s honestly shocking how something with only a few ingredients can taste this good. We love it with nut thins, Hawaiian rolls, bread for small sandwiches.. it’s good anyway you serve it.
Olive Nut Spread Ingredients Needed:
Cream Cheese
Mayonnaise
Green Olives with pimentos
Juice from olives
Chopped pecans
Pepper
I like to make this spread up in advance, it’s better if it has time to chill and sit for a few hours. If you want to make it lower calorie, you can use low fat cream cheese and low fat mayonnaise. I do think Greek yogurt could be a good substitute as well. I have made it with Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese (this is a Kroger product) and it was delicious. So this recipe is pretty versatile.
Even thought it is such a simple spread/dip, it is still great to add to a wedding shower, baby shower or brunch gathering. This delicious peach dip would go well with any event too. Wonderful contrast to the olive dip as it’s sweet.
If you love dips as much as we do you will also love this favorite!

Olive Nut Spread
Only 5 ingredients and absolutely delicious!
Servings: 8 servings
- 1 8 ounce block of cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 cup of pecans chopped
- 2/3 cup of green olives and pimentos sliced
- 2 tablespoons of olive juice
- Dash of pepper
-
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. If your cream cheese is soft enough you will not need a mixer. I had no problem mixing this with a spoon.
-
Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours.
-
Serve with wheat thins, Hawaiian rolls, Ritz crackers, or bread for small sandwiches.
