One Piece chapter 1041 was sadly been delayed last week, but thankfully a new release date and raw scan spoilers have now been shared online.
Sunday’s have been bliss for anime and manga fans around the world for the past several months. Not only have we been getting new episodes of Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer, but also the latest chapters of My Hero Academia and One Piece each Sunday.
However, both the Demon Slayer anime and the One Piece manga were notably absent from the schedule last week. Specifically for the One Piece manga, chapter 1041 was sadly postponed; but thankfully a new release date has now been confirmed and the spoilers have been shared.

One Piece was missing last week
Unfortunately, the One Piece manga was notably absent in last week’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan.
This meant that the international release via Viz Media and Manga Plus was also be postponed.
A reason for the delay was not announced, but the team makes a habit of taking regular breaks in order to maintain both the series’ quality and the mental health of the production team.
The good news is that the delay won’t be a long one, so when will chapter 1041 release online in English?
One Piece chapter 1041 release date and time
One Piece chapter 1041 will now release worldwide in English on Sunday, February 27thas confirmed by Viz Media.
Per Manga Plus’ series page, the next chapter will launch from the following international times:
- Pacific Time: 7 AM PST
- Eastern Time: 10 AM EST
- British Time: 3 PM GMT
- European Time: 4 PM CEST
- India Time: 8.30PM IST
- Philippine Time: 11 PM PHT
- Australia Time: 1.30 AM ACDT (Feb 28)
Both Viz Media and Manga Plus will provide access to the upcoming chapter in English for free, with a subscription to either service costing $1.99 a month for the full library of online chapters.
However, the next chapter of the One Piece manga series is already trending on social media thanks to the spoilers that have leaked online for chapter 1041, see below.
The detailed spoilers leak online
The detailed spoilers for One Piece chapter 1041 from the raw scans have now been shared online.
According to OPspoilerthe upcoming chapter will be titled “Komurasaki” and will feature Pudding, Niji, Yonji and Sanji on the cover.
Momonosuke tells Yamato that he doesn’t know anything about Zunesha, who is still waiting to attack the World Government ships. Zunesha tells them that he is here to fight alongside them, but Momonosuke reveals that Oden ripped out the most important pages concerning the Laugh Tale from the journal.
Cut to the 3rd floor, where Fukurokuju has collapsed to the ground with severe burn injuries as Raizou starts spinning around trying to put out the fires.
Cut to the Treasure Hall on the 2nd floor, where Orochi is getting concerned as to why Fukurokuju hasn’t come to meet them yet. Suddenly, the roof above Orochi starts to crumble and he is trapped underneath the thick stone.
Orochi screams at Komurasaki to help, but she instead reveals her true identity after shooting him with a dart, stopping him from transforming…Hiyori!
Cut again to the basement, where CP0’s agent is fighting fiercely with Izou. Both of them collapse to the ground with exhaustion, when CP0 boss gets a new order from the Gorousei, to eliminate Luffy immediately. CP0 Boss appears shocked, not understanding why they have been ordered to interfere with Kaidou when X Drake stands up, saying “I won’t die empty-handed!”
In another part of the basement, we see large groups start to congregate together as they try to heal and escape the crumbling island. The group includes Usopp, Hamlet, Carrot, Wanda, Franky, Zoro, Nami and Zeus, as well as Tama, Speed, Marco, Komachiyo and Hihimaru who are in the bath area.
Kid and Law are also seen in the area above where Big Mom fell through, they are both exhausted as Kid asks whether they should prepare for Kaidou. However, Law says that if it is Kaidou who descends from the roof, “we won’t stand a chance of winning anyway.”
A flashback can be seen of when Kaidou first met Big Mom when he was only 15 years old, when he noted that she would become the king of the seas. The memory of their first meeting causes Kaidou to cry, but Luffy immediately attacks and lands a Colour of the Supreme King Haki to his face.
In a double spread, Luffy uses a new attack called Fear Fourth: Snakeman Gomu Gomu no Hydra (Gum Gum Nine Head Serpent) which takes Kaidou by surprise. The chapter ends with Luffy screaming that “I won’t stop attacking you until I run out of strength! I will definitely kick you out of Wanokuni!”

A new anime episode this weekend
The good news for One Piece fans is that the weekend will see both the manga and anime releasing new content.
The next episode in the anime series (1012) will be titled “A Turnaround Move! The Flames of Marco the Phoenix” and will premiere on Sunday, February 27th.
Episode 1012 will launch from the following international times:
- Pacific Time: 6 PM PST (Feb 26)
- Eastern Time: 9 PM EST (Feb 26)
- British Time: 2 AM GMT (Feb 27)
- European Time: 3 AM CET (Feb 27)
- India Time: 7.30 AM IST (Feb 27)
- Philippine Time: 10 AM (Feb 27)
- Australia Time: 12.30 PM ACDT (Feb 27)
More anime to arrive on Netflix soon
This week, the Netflix streaming platform announced that more episodes from the One Piece anime adaptation will be made available on the US version of the service.
The new episodes will be made available to stream in the US from Tuesday, March 1st2022.
As noted by What’s On Netflix, it is unclear how many new episodes will be released. The next two sagas in the anime adaptation are the Sky Island and Water 7 story arcs.
“If Netflix only receives the Sky Island saga it will receive the following seasons: Season 5 Episodes: 130-143, Season 6 Episodes: 144-195. If Netflix also receives the Water 7 saga it will take the number of seasons available to stream up to 9 and the number of episodes to 335: Season 7 Episodes: 196-228, Season 8 Episodes: 229-263, Season 9 Episodes: 264-335.” – What’s On Netflix.
Additionally, there are reports on social media that the Strong World theatrical movie would premiere on March 15th2022.
There has been no mention of the release of these One Piece episodes on the UK version of Netflix, but the new episodes will be made available on Netflix Brazil.
