Although the course was relatively flat, it certainly had its challenges with the full effects of all the recent wind and rain truly felt across the course.
Overall, the Olympians had 13 men and 11 women completing the course.
Matthew Collins got the better of Janos Vranek of Aberystwyth University after a race-long battle to win the event won while Josh Goolden marked debut by being the third Olympian male runner to finish.
In the women’s race, there were some great performances with Nicola Shipp the first Olympian back and third in the W45 category.
Ali Tickner and Susie Hancock also came third in the W55 and W60 age categories respectively while Lizzie Barlow enjoyed a solid debut.
A club spokesman said: “A massive well done to all Olympians who raced and took part with special thanks to Meirionnydd RC for putting on a great event.
“It’s now time to look forward to the final race of the season which will be at the Marches School, Oswestry on Saturday, February 10th.”
