Marineland, a Canadian aquarium located in Niagara Falls, has become synonymous with animal neglect and heartbreaking losses.
In the past year alone, five belugas under their care have died. Tragically, Kiska, known as “the world’s loneliest orca,” was the last of her kind at the park and passed away in 2023.
With over 20 whale and dolphin deaths reported since 2019, it is clear that urgent action is needed.
We call on Marineland to send all remaining animals to a sanctuary where they can thrive.
Despite mounting evidence and public outrage regarding the captivity of marine mammals, Marineland continues to defend its practices.
It’s time for Marineland to stop exhibiting captive wildlife and collaborate with reputable sanctuaries to rehabilitate its animals.
This change will allow these creatures to live in environments that cater to their complex needs rather than simply using them for entertainment.
Join us in demanding that Marineland and Ontario Animal Welfare Services prioritize the lives and rights of these animals by signing this petition!

Help to save wildlife
If you can, please make a donation on a monthly basis. It takes less than a minute to set up, and you can rest assured that you’re making a big impact every single month in support of wildlife conservation. Thank you.
Focusing on Wildlife supports approved wildlife conservation organizations, which spend at least 80 percent of the money they raise on actual fieldwork, rather than administration and fundraising.
