Going to an Adele concert with your ex might be a lot of people’s idea of hell – but not Philip Schofield’s.
He was one of the handful of famous faces. in attendance at the recording of Adele’s ITV special at the London Palladium last night, and he invited his estranged wife Stephanie Lowe to join him.
The This Morning presenter came out as gay in February 2020, but he has stayed close to his wife of 27 years, who is mum to their two grown-up daughters, Molly, 28, and Ruby, 25.
Despite their marriage breakdown when the ITV star came out as a gay man last year, the former couple has maintained a close relationship.
Posing for the cameras outside the London Palladium, Phillip, 59, looked dapper in a dark chequered three-piece suit, as Steph looked chic in an all-black ensemble.

After the event Phillip was quick to gush over the special evening, encouraging Adele fans to tune in to the special show later this month.
He wrote to his three million Instagram followers: “What an INCREDIBLE evening!!! @adele. Whatever you do, don’t miss it when it’s on @itv soon.”
An Audience With Adele, will be broadcast on Sunday, November 21.
Mother-of-one Adele performed many of her classic hits in front of a specially invited audience of friends, family, fans, her own personal heroes and heroines, fellow musicians, artists, actors, sportsmen, sportswomen and more.
Dawn French, Naomi Campbell, Kate Ferdinand, Suranne Jones and Kate Garraway were among the select few who got to hear tracks from Adele’s new album, 30, ahead of its November 19 release.
With an incredible 11.5 million albums sold in the UK alone and with timeless songs such as Hello, Someone Like You, Rolling In The Deep and When We Were Young, Adele has become one of the most successful UK artists of all time.
The star came out back in February 2020 during a live broadcast of This Morning, alongside his co-host and pal Holly Willoughby.

It was an incredibly emotional moment, and one that he had to ask her to help him navigate, reading out a pre-prepared statement to their millions of viewers.
Last year, the Dancing on Ice presenter opened up about his relationship with his wife since his sexuality revelation.

Speaking on Chris Evans’ podcast How To Wow, Phillip admitted things with Stephanie are still “a work in progress”.
“I’m still married to Steph. There is a great deal of talk of divorce – we have not discussed that at all,” he admitted.
“With divorce… that has not been discussed. We are picking our way through and however that works and it’s a work in progress. I am a work in progress. Steph is a work in progress.”
