Pier’s Morgan’s wife is desperately trying to find someone to give him a job so that he will get out of the house and give her some space after he lost his role on Good Morning Britain earlier this year.
Writer Celia Walden has been married to 56-year-old Piers since 2010 and they have a nine-year-old daughter together.
Celia used to enjoy having Pier’s out at work on GMB, and him being too tired after his morning TV work to cause her much domestic strife.
But the 45-year-old novelist says that has all changed since the star walked away from his £3 million per year TV role back in March over a protest about Meghan Markle.

Celia now wants “anyone” to give him a job so he is out of the house and she can get a bit of peace and quiet.
She told The Sun: “Well, I always think of that famous quote, ‘Behind every great man, there’s a woman rolling her eyes’ — I am that woman.
“Being married to Piers is basically one very long eye roll. But what people don’t realise about Piers is that he’s usually very quiet at home because he’s exhausted himself on whatever interview he’s been doing.
“This is the only reason I am sad about him leaving GMB — well, that and the fact I wake up and there he is, staring back at me morning after morning.

“But really, he used to come back and by 9am was absolutely flattened, lying there on the sofa, catatonic, not bothering anyone.
“Unfortunately he’s got all his energy back now. Please, someone, just give him a job!”
Piers quit GMB after he walked off set in protest over Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex’s explosive interview with US talkshow legend Oprah Winfrey.
The opinionated star took issue with some of the information Meghan shared in her interview – which he challenged over the validity.
Viewers, and even Meghan herself, inundated ITV and GMB with complaints over the fact Piers didn’t automatically believe everything Meghan said, and he opted to quit his role rather than apologise for his words on air.
Over the past year, Piers has boosted GMB’s audience with his cutting opinions and for challenging the government over their response to the Covid pandemic – making him a hero in the eyes of many.
This is another development Celia has been surprised by, saying: “What’s extraordinary is that before it really was that Marmite thing with him — a split between those who loved or loathed him.
“But recently the attention has been 99.9 per cent positive. It’s been like walking around with a national treasure. Very odd.”
