The upcoming baby of the PlayStation family has promised to revolutionize the gaming experience once it launches. The all-new PlayStation 5, with its extremely powerful hardware, will let users experience lightning-fast gameplay with unprecedented graphics at insane framerates.
People are eager to see how the new games set to release for this mean machine will perform. To look for that answer, the eSports website Gameinformer spoke to Ember Lab, the developers of the upcoming game Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
The developers at Ember Lab spoke at length at how playing the game on the PS5 with the DualSense controller brought out the best in the game. However, the game is not a PlayStation exclusive and will be available on PC via Epic Games Store.

Experience next-gen gaming with PlayStation 5, as Kena: BoS shows
One major part of the console’s hardware is the Solid State Drive. This will ensure faster and seamless gameplay. But exactly how fast? Upon launching, it took two seconds for the game to boot from the System OS to the game screen.
Now, this is something that is mighty impressive. Josh Grier, Chief Operating Officer at Ember Lab, said, “They have a whole thing set up where you can do transition and it’s very nice, but frankly it doesn’t have time to play the animation. It just loads the game so fast.”
This transition is something fans have previously seen in the gameplay of the upcoming Ratchet and Clank title. The PlayStation exclusive has no loading screens whatsoever, thanks to the SSD of the PS5.
Mike Grier, the Chief Creative Officer of Ember Lab, said, “We’ve been on development on PS4 for most of the project, and squeezing it and getting the performance that we wanted out of it was a nightmare… when we went to PS5 it was nice, because we had a good baseline and then we could just add to it and take advantage of the extra juice.”
Mike further added that the visual detail was higher when they run the game on PS5, as compared to PS4. On the PS5, players will be able to distinctly see the foliage and the fauna in the game.
In addition to this, the DualSense controllers, with their haptic feedback feature add to the players’ sensory involvement with the game. Overall, Kena: Bridge of Spirits went on to show that a mean gaming machine is on its way, namely, the PlayStation 5.
