Police charge a second man with murder charges over last weekend’s Caboolture double shooting

A second man has been charged with the murder of two men who were gunned down at Caboolture, north of Brisbane, last weekend.

Keera Power, 21, from Kallangur, was charged on Friday afternoon and appeared in court via video link on Saturday.

Daytona James Paul was one of two people shot dead in Caboolture last weekend.

Daytona James Paul, 23, and Aaron Steven Davis, 37, were shot dead in suburban unit complex on the night April 17.

Within hours, accused gunman Adam Bird, 24, was arrested at a petrol station.

He remains in custody charged with two counts of murder and weapons offences, including possessing a shortened firearm.

The day after the shootings, detectives also arrested Mr Power, for allegedly possessing dangerous drugs at Jindalee.

He was charged with two counts of murder.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again on May 17.
