An old video of the iconic Posh Spice accidentally making a risqué joke has resurfaced again. It just proves a comment can sound completely different in various contexts. But this was particularly awkward for Victoria Beckham and son Brooklyn (who was only 14 at the time).
What a throwback. An Instagram account with the username LoveOfHuns shared the clip of Victoria Beckham’s hilarious but awkward moment and the internet has been loving it.

“That doesn’t happen often” to VB
Collecting the Woman of The Decade Award at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Garden back in June 2013, the designer faced one of the most awkward moments in front of her then 14-year-old son, Brooklyn.
The video captured the moment as Victoria adjusted the microphone and said: “Oh, I have to raise it, that doesn’t happen often.”
The audience, who burst into laughter made Victoria believe that she had said a quirky comment. Embarrassed, she gasped and insisted saying “Oh my god, I didn’t even mean it!’
The Spice Girl then apologized to her then 14-year-old son, Brooklyn, who was sitting with his grandparents, Jackie and Tony.
“I’m so sorry, Brooklyn,” she repeatedly said, writes Mail Online. What an inopportune moment, and funny at the same time.
She was surely referring to the fact that since she is 1.63cm, she normally has to lower and not raise the microphone. Still, that became a memorable line.

Victoria Beckham has done a lot of press conferences but there are only a few times when she has had to receive awards on her own.
In June 2013, Victoria Beckam received the Woman of The Decade Award. As a rookie designer, it was an important moment for the former Spice Girl.
As the situation got out of hand, Victoria told the audience that she was told to be funny “but that was completely off the cuff”.
Accompanied by her son instead of her husband, David Beckham, she called him “the most handsome man in the room.”
She also proceeded to thank her team, fans, and members of the Spice Girls as the awards ceremony was celebrating girl power.

Her eyes are not on David Beckham’s tattooed body
Two years later, during a visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Briton had another funny moment when she demonstrated that she couldn’t remember all of her husband’s tattoos.
The point of the game was that every time Victoria guessed the body part where her husband had a tattoo, Ellen would donate $1,000 to the United Nations funds, which has been appointed as an International Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations since 2014.
Victoria certainly didn’t have a good start, and she even laughed about it. Ellen even joked that Victoria was the one who owed her money.
“I’m so bad at this. I need to look at him more,” Victoria said.
Even though the Spice Girl did not succeed much at the game, Ellen rounded up her donations from $3,000 to $10,000.
